Mole & Spot Removal

By Dr. Peter Bray

Moles are extremely common and everyone has them. Most of them are benign and do not have to be removed medically. If you are concerned that your moles are changing or look suspicious, you should consult your General Practitioner or Dermatology to make sure that they are not worrisome. Some of the benign ones can be irritating or itchy and they can appear in areas that are not cosmetically pleasing. We offer surgical removal of them and strive to give you the best scar possible. Most of the time, it is a relatively simple procedure that takes no more than 10 minutes. It is often done under local anesthesia with no downtime.
As we age, we tend to get more “spots” on our face and body unfortunately. Like moles, they can cause irritation and they can be unsightly. These spots can be black, brown, yellow, red, skin colored and occasionally other colours. It is extremely common for people to seek removal of them and the procedures are relatively painless and quick. At our clinic, we offer the following quality services to remove them:
» Cryotherapy (liquid nitrogen)
» Electrocautery (burning with gentle electricity)
» Surgical excision (Superficial cutting)
» Creams
» Laser
*Individual Results May Vary
